The much awaited Children’s Day was enjoyed by the Shemstars. A special programme was prepared by their very own teachers. They were delighted to see their mentors on the stage, putting their best foot forward to make the Shemstars feel special in every little way. Apart from hilarious thought for the day, news, speeches and poems, the teachers exhibited their acting, singing and dancing skills. The Shemstars were moved by the efforts of their teachers to make Children’s Day a special one for them. The tiny tots of Shem foundation were amused and found it difficult to resist being on the stage themselves when they saw their teachers singing and dancing to the tunes of their nursery rhymes.
The grand finale stirred echoes of applause and appreciation when the children saw the teachers of the school on the stage, all together, dancing and singing to wish them on this very special day. Principal, Ms Amita Dhaka also walked up on the stage to wish them in her melodious voice. She believes that every child is different and they need to be groomed properly so that this world becomes a beautiful garden.
The Children’s day celebrations are still continuing at Shemford, Pinjore. The Shemstars are eagerly looking forward to fun unlimited at Shemfest – Children’s Creative Carnival in the school premises on the 18th of November.
