Shemstar Narayan Champions Brainobrain Fest

It’s a moment of honour for Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore to announce that Narayan, a student of class 4 completed his level 10 of advanced level in the 7th International online abacus competition-Brainobrainfest 2022. Narayan, won champions’ trophy in all the 10 levels. Shemford family takes immense pride in his achievement.

Shemstar Tanmay Champions Brainobrain Fest

Shemford takes pride in announcing the achievement of Tanmay Chauhan, a student of Grade 4 of Shemford Futuristic School Pinjore, who received the Champions’ Award in the category G (level 7) in the 7th International online abacus competition-Brainobrainfest 2022. In 4 minutes he solved 25 out of 42 problems based on arithmetic. 23537 students from 75 countries participated in the competition. The categories of awards were champions, gold toppers, silver toppers and merit participants.

BASANT PANCHMI CELEBRATED AT SHEMFORD PINJORE


Shemford Futuristic School Pinjore organized a special online assembly to celebrate Basant Panchmi, the festival dedicated to the Goddess of knowledge, art and learning- Goddess Saraswati.  Prayers were sung in the praise of the deity. Shemstras presented shalokas, dances, speeches and poems on the significance of the festival.  They also exhibited their joy through beautiful drawings and paintings depicting the spring season. The glimpses of all the activities held to celebrate Basant Panchmi was also shared with the students during the online assembly to applaud their efforts.

Shemstars Celebrated 73rd Republic Day

Shemstars celebrated 73rd Republic Day with great patriotic fervor. It was indeed thrilling to see the overwhelming response of the enthusiastic children. They shared photos and videos of their participation through Digital Platform. They made posters, recited poems, made beautiful and colourful kites, sang and danced to patriotic songs.

The flag hoisting took place in the school premises. Sweets were also distributed amongst the school staff to celebrate the special day.

During the special online assembly, Director– Dr.(Mrs.) Bimla Arora addressed the students and appreciated the digital platform/technology which enabled us to celebrate the Republic Day online this year.

As a part of Republic Day celebrations, various competitions were held like Poem Recitation/Declamation, Tricolour Receipe, Rangoli Competition etc.   Children also dressed up and presented the quotes of their role models in National leaders and Freedom Fighters like Jijamata, Bhagat Singh etc. The participants were applauded for their efforts in regard to the art work & innovations during the special assembly.

Students were addressed as the biggest strength of the country -the Future Leaders and the Nation Builders. They were told to assess their role and responsibility as good citizen of the country. They were also told about the importance & significance of tricolours in our National Flag.

She also guided the students to follow all the SOPs and wished good health for the Shemstars. “India fit hai to Hit hai”.

We are happy to share that our Shemstar Aum Rajesh Lakhani of grade 5 has made the school proud once again by winning in the Shri Krishna Quiz organized by the Team Mind Wars, (an initiative of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd.)

CHRISTMAS FERVOUR AT SHEMFORD, PINJORE

Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore celebrates all festivals with great zeal and enthusiasm. Christmas is one of the most awaited festivals for children as the entire campus wears a festive look with Christmas decorations, ornaments, festoons, balloons and a huge Christmas tree. As Santa comes alive with a lot of hustle and bustle and a bagful of goodies laughter and blessings.

It was Christmas week all the way as various activities were organized throughout the week for the students in which they participated with great fervor. Decorating of Christmas trees, bells, stockings, cards, candles, stars and window dressing etc. were some of the activities conducted. It was a treat to the eyes to see the children working in perfect coordination and harmony to prove theirs to be the most beautifully decorated class room. The happy sounds of the Shemstars echoed in the premises amid festive cheer. Later, the entire school gathered for a beautiful program that was prepared by their mates. The Nativity scene was enacted to recount the story of the birth of Lord Christ which depicted the hardships that Joseph and Mary underwent during that time. The choir melodiously sang Christmas Carols.

Merriment and excitement spread among the children on seeing Santa. He mingled with the children and gave them sweets and balloons. Dr. Mrs. Bimla Arora, Director, Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore wished everyone a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. The students went home delighted with a beautiful message “Celebrate the spirit of giving”

SKILL CONTEST-SHEM SPARDHA

November 14, 2021     Shemford Futuristic School Pinjore organized SHEM SPARDHA an Art Skill & Stage Skill Contest- on the occasion of Children’s Day on Sunday i.e. 14th Nov., 2021. Keeping covid-19 SOPs in mind, different time slots were given for different age-groups. wherein, students had an array of competitions to chose from.

Tiny tots of classes Nur. -UKG were decked up in their vibrant fineries and looked very pretty while performing on the stage for Fancy Dress, Recitation and Show & Tell.  They also participated in on the spot drawing & colouring, veg. painting (flowers) along with clay modelling.

There was great enthusiasm in the students of Cl. 1-5. They stole everybody’s heart by swaying, swinging and dancing to the rhythm of foot tapping dance numbers. Children also showed their talent in mimicry, collage making & gift wrapping etc.

A mass participation was seen in children of classes 6 –9 displaying their dancing skills- it was a treat for the eyes. Students were excellent in making still life, landscape and portrait.  They touched the heart of the audience by singing devotional & latest bollywood songs.

The fun games corner was the most happening place for all. Prizes and surprises were the attraction amongst the students. It was indeed a pleasurable day out with friends and teachers.

The School Head Ms. Teenu Jolly congratulated all the participants. All the students were awarded with participation certificates and prizes were distributed to the winners under various categories.

GURU NANAK JAYANTI CELEBRATED AT SHEMFORD, PINJORE

Guru Purab was celebrated at Shemford Pinjore with religious piety to mark the 552nd birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Students conducted a special assembly. Speeches, poems and incidents from the life of the great guru were narrated by the Shemstars, highlighting His contribution towards promoting communal harmony, fraternal love, goodness and virtues among the commoners. Naturopathy Day is also celebrated on 18th Nov .The students were made aware of the drugless system of medicine  to prevent diseases by following a healthy and balanced diet and alerting  their life style.
