A special assembly was conducted online to mark the Halloween and National Unity Day at Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore. The history of Halloween was explained to them . The Shemstars made Spooky characters related to Halloween like ghosts, pumpkins etc. Their creativity was also shared in the assembly. Introduced in the year 2014, the students were also acquainted with the relevance of the National Unity Day that marks the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. Such assemblies are important to arouse awareness and enhance the knowledge of students about the important days that are observed all over the world.

DUSSEHRA CELEBRATIONS AT SHEMFORD, PINJORE

Dussehra was celebrated online with a lot of excitement at Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore. A puppet show depictimg the story of the Ramayana was shown in the special assembly online. Students did role plays of the characters of the Ramayana. They also keenly participated in various activities like mask making, mace making, making the effigy of Ravama, delivering messages from the Ramayana and much more. The message conveyed was that truth and goodness prevails over all evil.

SHEM SURPRIZE – FULL OF SURPRISES

On Students’ Day, SHEM SURPRIZE, the first of its kind online Commendation Programmewas organized at Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore. The programme was full of surprises for both the Shemstars and their parents.It was specially designed to orient the parents on the new National Education Policy 2020. All the items presented were activity based, skill based, theme based and experiential and in line with the new education policy guidelines. The School Head, Mrs. Teenu Jolly, in her address reiterated that this transition would be smooth and seamless at Shemford, since with its futuristic approach it is already imparting education through experiential learning.

The programme began with the auspicious ceremony of lighting the lamp by Chairman, Shemrock and Shemford Group of Schools, Dr. D R Arora, Dr. (Mrs.) Bimla Arora, Director Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore and the School Head, Mrs. Teenu Jolly. This was followed by Ganesh Vandana and prayers to seek the blessings of the Almighty.

The occasion was graced with an online message by Mrs. Meenal Arora, Founder Director, Shemford Group of Schools. She congratulated the entire Shemford Pinjore family on their initiative. She also shared her success mantra with the Shemstars that would help them to carve the best version of themselves.

The toppers for class X & XII CBSE board exams for the session 2019- 2020 and over seventy toppers from classes 1-12 in different subjects who were taken by surprise when they were felicitated with commendation certificates online. The entire Shemford family is proud of them.

शेम्फोर्ड फ्यूचरिस्टिक स्कूल पिंजौर में  दिनांक 11 सितम्बर को ऑनलाइन प्रार्थना सभा के द्वारा बच्चों के दादा-दादी,नाना-नानी को विशेष रूप से आमंत्रित करते हुए (ग्रैंड पैरेंट्स डे) पितामह दिवस मनाया गया।इस अवसर पर अपने प्रिय दादा-दादी,नाना-नानी के प्रति सम्मान और प्रेम दर्शाते हुए विद्यार्थियों ने गीत,भाषण,
कविताओं तथा नृत्य प्रस्तुतियों द्वारा अपना प्रेम प्रकट किया। बच्चों ने उनके लिए सुंदर कार्ड्स बनाये और उनके साथ अपनी फोटो अलबम सांझा की।
इस प्रकार के आयोजन का उद्देश्य बच्चों को अपने बड़ों का सम्मान करना तथा संयुक्त परिवर की परंपरा का मूल्य समझाना है।
विद्यालय की डायरेक्टर श्रीमती बिमला अरोड़ा जी ने सभी शेम स्टार्स को दादा -दादी ,नाना-नानी के लिए प्रेम से भरी प्रस्तुतियों के लिए शुभकामनाये दीं।उन्होंने फिटनेस और हेल्थ का रहस्य बताते हुए महत्वपूर्ण जानकारियां प्रदान । डॉक्टर डी.आर.अरोड़ा चैयरमैन शैमरॉक एंड शेम्फोर्ड ग्रुप ऑफ स्कूल्स ने जीवन में  हमेशा प्रसन्नचित रहने के महत्व को बताते हुए चुटकले सुना कर माहौल को खुशनुमा कर दिया।
उन्होंने सन्देश दिया कि हम बूढ़े उम्र से नही होते,बल्कि तब हो जाते हैं जब हम हंसना छोड़ देते हैं इसलिए सदा प्रसन्न रहना चाहिए।
शेम्फोर्ड परिवार ने सभी ग्रैंड पेरेंट्स के लिए स्वास्थ्य एवम प्रसन्नता से पूर्ण दीर्घायु हेतु शुभकामनाएं प्रदान कीं।

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA OBSERVED BY SHEMSTARS

On the International Day of Yoga, the Shemstars were motivated to make Yoga an integral part of their daily routine. Principal, Ms. Teenu Jolly reinforced the worldwide acknowledged fact that ‘Yoga adds life to your years and years to your life’. She also said that one should gain from the immense mental, physical and spiritual benefits that yoga brings to ones being.  The enthusiastic Shemstars enjoyed the Yoga session at home and shared the pictures of the same which were later uploaded on the school portals to applaud their efforts.

Shemstars celebrated Father’s day making every effort to make the day a special one. Their teachers shared ideas with them for making cards and gifts for their fathers. Apart from this the Shemstars also prepared goodies for their fathers on this special day. They also spent the day playing games and watching movies with their families. They enjoyed and captured their experiences in the form of pictures and videos which were later uploaded on the school websites to form everlasting memories.

NATIONAL TECHNOLOGY DAY CELEBRATED

National Technology Day was observed at Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore today. A special online assembly was conducted for the students of the preprimary wing. They were acquainted with the term and shown the various appliances which they find around them.  They learnt to make a rope and glasses telephone which they thoroughly enjoyed. Mr. Amol Arora, MD, Shemrock and Shemford Group of Schools, was the speaker for the day.  He involved the parents of the students in an online quiz as well. A special session was organized with the parents of the Shemstars, guiding them on how to become and make their children tech savvy.

The students of the primary, middle and senior school were assigned projects which they made enthusiastically. Shemstars made portable fans, water dispensers and parachutes as guided and shared the same with their peers in their online groups. ‘Today, we do not use technology, we live technology. It is technology that has made it possible for us to reach out to our students. in their homes during the lockdown’, said Ms. Teenu Jolly, Principal, Shemford Pinjore.

ORIENTATION WEEK at SHEMFORD

ORIENTATION WEEK at SHEMFORD

A week long orientation programme was conducted for Shemstars at Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore. At Shemford every opportunity is sought to orient the students to shape their future in the best possible way. An interactive session was conducted for the students of classes 6 to 9 on 21st of January, by Ms Racquel Shroff, CEO, Global Education Solutions, Australia, to acquaint them with the changing trends and futuristic approach in the professions in the fast changing world. The session focused on the need to develop skills to excel in life among the youth of today.

The Shemstars also witnessed ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha-2020’ a unique initiative of the Hon’ble Prime Minister. The interactive session motivated the Shemstars to keep themselves stress free in order to do their examination well. In addition to this a session on Health and Wellness was also conducted wherein the students were told about the alarming ill effects of junk food and its adverse effects on the learning efficiency of the children. The importance of a physical exercise and activity was emphasized upon.

It is also important to train the youth on disaster management in everyday life. A demo was given to the Shemstars on how to use the fire extinguishers in case of emergency. Experts were called from the industry for the same.

The week long programme culminated on Jan 24th, the International Day of Education, with a very powerful, interactive and informative talk by Lt. Gen. K. J. Singh on ‘Knowing Our Borders’ keeping in accordance with the Republic Day celebrations. He spoke about the country and the different types of borders that she shares with her neighbouring countries.

At Shemford, it is and endeavour to conduct such orientation programmes from time to time to groom each and every child such that he shines bright when he grows up. No doubt students at Shemford are called- Shemstars.
