POIGNANT ADIEU TO CLASS XII

‘Fare –Thee well in life, May you prove your grit and might, May all your dreams come true in this process,’ these were the heartfelt feelings expressed by the students of class 11 who organized a grand party to bid farewell to their seniors of class 12. The students of class 11 lined up to extend a warm welcome to their special guests with flowers and tilak. The boys looked very handsome in their smartly tailored suits while the girls stole the show looking gorgeous in lovely saris and gowns. Once everyone was seated after having exchanged the greetings, it was time for the titles which were given highlighting the uniqueness of each individual. The appropriateness of each title invited loud cheer from the gathering. The cultural programme comprising of melodious songs, pulsating music and emotional speeches were interspersed with delightful modern and traditional dances.

After   this, Dr. (Mrs.) Bimla Arora, member management, DPS Pinjore, advised the outgoing class students to work with passion, patience, planning and follow their heart in all their endeavours. Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Amita Dhaka the School Principal said that Partings -although inevitable -are not very easy. The tiny-tots grow up to take long flights to the unknown horizons, and we do not realize how time flies.  She wished all the students a brilliant success and bright future. She decorated Shaswot Upreti and Janvi Kaushik as Mr Shemford and Ms Shemford respectively. The Most popular girl and the Most Popular Boy titles were bagged by Amrita Panigrahi and Rohit Deb respectively. Class Twelfth thanked their juniors and expressed their gratitude for the school by presenting a lovely card along with the flowers to the Principal. It was now time for everyone to be on the dance floor with the DJ playing their favourite, latest songs. After this a sumptuous lunch was enjoyed by all.
